I pitched ThoughtBox to the Community of Dragons in 2018
It was the early days of the social enterprise and the first public outing and was a beautifully humbling experience to ask for help, support and recognition from the local community.
The impact of the evening was extraordinary. Standing up in front of your community and opening your heart’s work is quite a scary ordeal, but to be received with such love, energy and enthusiasm is such a gift.
Participation in the Reconomy Project
I pitched ThoughtBox to the Community of Dragons in 2018
I was blessed with over £4500 donations towards a transformative learning festival held at KEVICCs (Totnes State Secondary School), and to support 10 schools with free membership to our full resources and training programmes for a year.
I was given free legal advice, strategy advice, financial mentoring, networking opportunities, cakes (!) and local partnerships - many of whom I still work closely with.
Most significantly perhaps was the recognition from the community that the work of ThoughtBox matters, is welcome and is appreciated.
