What we do

Providing Skills and Training

Training, support and encouragement is at the heart of everything we do.  Whether it's bringing trainees through our Pizza Project or working with local organisations to help them develop new community projects and volunteer programmes.

Participation in the Reconomy Project

Participation in the Reconomy Project

We pitched our businees at the Community of Dragons event in 2022.
We received about £5000 in donations, some new kitchen equipment and some great contacts.
The money and donations we received helped us kit out our kitchen; previously we had to use a friend’s commercial kitchen for all of our prep, and stored everything in domestic fridges.
After the LEF, we managed to build a bespoke kitchen and Almond Thief donated us two huge commercial bakery fridges for all of our stock.

Mostly, the whole experience validated the business, made us feel more like we had landed in the community.

"The experience of pitching to the Community of Dragons was so energising and impactful.  We met lots of local contacts who have helped us develop, and got our business out to lots of potential customers. "
